Cliff Mautner Workshop!!

Hello to the 2 or 3 of you (probably just myself LOL) that might be reading this.  Hope you had a lovely weekend.

I’m going to be working with Cliff Mautner over the next few days learning a bit about his process for lighting (natural/strobe).  Cliff was rated in American Photos “Top 10 Wedding Photographers” in 2008. This workshop is geared more towards weddings, but I’m looking forward to applying this information to all areas of my photography.  I will post some photos from the workshop either during the day when I have access or once I’m back in NYC.

Alice!

Well, we had a small window today in New York City, but we made it happen.  I looked out the window around 11:30am and saw snow falling to the ground and couldn’t help but laugh thinking, “what next?”

Anyway, here’s one from the day.  I loved shooting with Alice and I hope she loves the photos as much as I do 🙂 (just click the link if you want to see the pic.  I haven’t figured out how to put up images yet 😛 )

Tomorrow, I will post images from a session with a wonderfully gifted actress by the name of Alice.  The shoot will take place in SoHo and as long as the weather holds out, the pics should be up.

First Blog!

My first ever blog!  Well, I’m a New York City photographer trying to stay afloat in this cozy economy. I’m not the greatest with words, but hopefully the images you’ll be seeing here will speak for themselves.
